Today, we begin our Lenten Spiritual Journey and as every year, we are to dedicate these 40 days to a better and more committed days of prayer by fasting, abstaining and living works of charity. We begin and close the day with the Celebration of the Eucharist at 8:30 AM and at 7:00 PM. After masses and throughout the day, the faithful may receive the blessed ashes; this year however, everyone will receive the ashes sprinkled over their heads and not on the forehead.
